Mataguay Campout is ON, and it is going to be a BLAST.

Here is some important info you need in order to Get Ready:

1) If you have not paid, contact Tracey Salbato to arrange for payment by NOVEMBER 1st:

Costs per person for this event are as follows:
- 1st Grade to 99 yrs old: $25
- Under 1st Grade: $15
- Over 99 yrs old: Free
- Family maximum: $100

Costs include camp fees, range fees, all meals on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday. You are on your own for Dinner on Friday. No refunds will be provided for skipping meals (arriving late/leaving early).

2) You will need to bring 3 Forms (IN PAPER) with you
#1 - Activity Consent Form for the Cubs (attached to Scoutbook, or available here): filestore.scouting.org.....3.pdf
#2 - Medical Parts A and B (for ALL participants, including Parents). File available here: filestore.scouting.org.....B.pdf
(HINT: Keep a copy of this handy in your email/Evernote etc as you will need it for future Cub events)
#3 - Shooting permission slip (all persons 1st grade and older who want to shoot): camping.sdicbsa.org/Co.....n.pdf

3) Each Den will prepare a meal - Dens can decide what they want to cook/provide for their meal.

Sat AM Breakfast - Bears (Robinson)
Sat Lunch - Web II (DeCamp)
Sat Dinner - Web I (Bartel)
Sat Smores/Dessert (*NOTE*, Expect Fire Restrictions @ Mataguay) - Tigers (McManus)
Sun AM Continental Bkfst - Wolves (Hoffman) and Lions (Luczyk)

4) Info sheet (Activities Plan, Meal Plan, EVERYTHING) is here in Google Docs (shows verbatim meals and equipment as provided last year):

See you at the San Elijo Lagoon vistor center, Black Friday, 9AM. Bring Class B uniforms.
Terrain will be flat/easy. Bring water, hat, sunscreen, (optional) binoculars, (optional) bird guide/Merlin Bird ID phone app.

Our Nov. Pack mtg is themed Reverent-Cubs Give Thanks.

Helen Woodward Animal Center sponsors Pets Without Walls and they are having a Care Package Collection Drive for the homeless and their pets. Please help by bringing some of these items to our Nov. Pack Mtg. Anne Marie Edwards (Bear Assistant Den Leader) will have a box to collect the items. Have your scouts help collect the items and think about how Thankful we are for all that we have.

Needed:
Socks and Beanies
Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, wet wipes, washcloths, Kleenex, chapstick, Band Aids)
Energy bars
Bottled Water
Dog Treats

At our Pack Mtg. we will have awards, info on our Mistletoe Fundraiser, a raffle for those in Class A uniform and meat sticks available for purchase from Den 2.
